This episode highlights team finalists for Sourcing Industry Group’s (SIG) Future of Sourcing Awards in the Innovations in Talent Management category.

The teams nominated for the Innovations in Talent Management category have demonstrated excellence in their field and represent the best example of innovation, transformation and/or leadership in talent management.

About the Teams:

  • Beeline – The biggest challenge companies face today is building an agile workforce of top-tier talent to compete and succeed in an on-demand world. Learn how Beeline combined advanced technology and a combination of private and public talent pools to create the industry’s first fully integrated system for self-sourcing contingent talent.
  • Microsoft – Microsoft has been on a journey to “learn by doing” in this new world of work. Learn about the mindset, approach and tools that helped Microsoft prove the business case while enabling its employees to engage talent in the Gig Economy responsibly and with high-impact results.
  • University of Tennessee (UT) – UT wanted a way to bring the Vested sourcing business model to life beyond a traditional classroom and online courses. Now a buyer-supplier team works on a real deal in real time, taking a module to “learn” and then completing deliverables to “do,”with their “homework” being the contract. Learn how they flipped the conventional learning model on its head.

About this Series:

Over the coming weeks, listeners will be introduced to the teams and individuals whose work has had significant impacts on the industry, the organizations for which they work and their colleagues. The Future of Sourcing Awards will take place at SIG’s Fall Global Executive Summit on October 17 in Rancho Mirage, California.
