In this week’s interview with Brian Umbenhauer of Deloitte, Brian discussed the fact that procurement leaders are continuing to outsource tactical and transactional activities. This is a theme that I hear regularly. Therefore, in todays episode of The Art of Procurement Friday Show, I thought I would discuss 4 activities that you should outsource today.
The first three activities can be applied to both Indirect and Direct procurement. The fourth is specifically related to Direct Materials Procurement in a manufacturing environment.
