AOP Introducing… Procure Ai

AOP Introducing… Procure Ai

In this episode of AOP Introducing, Helen Mackenzie speaks with Konstantin von Bueren, co-founder at Procure Ai, an augmented procurement platform leading the way in transforming enterprise procurement through advanced analytics and AI-driven insights. Konstantin, who has deep expertise in sustainability, corporate restructuring, and procurement processes, understands the challenges facing procurement today and helped found Procure Ai to address what he saw as a critical gap in procurement technology.

Procure Ai leverages advanced data analytics and AI to help organizations proactively influence and optimize their end-to-end procurement processes, breaking down data and information siloes and reducing the time procurement spends on rote tasks. This technology enables procurement to access real-time analytics and automated order processing, which helps to boost operational efficiency so procurement can, as Konstantin puts it, “make quicker and smarter decisions on a daily basis.”

“When organizations look at their data, it normally comes from a lot of different sources, and most of the time they’re siloed and hard to access,” said Konstantin. “At Procure Ai, we build the backbone that brings together all your data on one platform, but we don’t stop there. We also build automation and intelligence use cases on top.”

This “library” of use cases includes things like automating tail spend management to real time risk assessments and proactive supplier management.

Konstantin’s own background in enterprise software, along with his procurement expertise, led him to identify a critical gap in the procuretech market, as well as a big opportunity to break down some of the biggest data siloes that have held procurement back from optimizing value creation. “We didn’t see anyone in the market building up a data platform that allows you to start automating processes end-to-end across different systems,” he said. “We wanted to build that underlying data foundation that procurement needs … and then build use cases on top of that to start creating more value for our customers.”

As procurement – and, indeed, every other business function – figures out how to zero in on opportunity in a fast-evolving, AI-powered world, Procure Ai is ready now with the technology procurement needs to augment its human capabilities and optimize decision making and value creation.

“We give procurement the right information at the right time so they can make better decisions … and we bring their data together from all different systems, which allows them to end-to-end automate processes,” he said. “But we call our platform augmented – not artificial – intelligence because it’s about the play of artificial intelligence and human intelligence together, not separate from each other.”
