McKinsey & Company joins AOP as Insights Partner for the 2025/26 ProcureTech100 and Founders’ Circle

Art of Procurement is excited to announce that McKinsey & Company will be our Insights Partner for the 2025/26 ProcureTech100 and Founders’ Circle.

McKinsey & Company is at the forefront of procurement transformation and digitization across many different industries and geographies, which provides them with an opportunity to observe firsthand what is working and what is not.

As our Insights Partner, McKinsey & Company will contribute the latest thought leadership and expertise to inform the judging process and will help us announce and discuss the ProcureTech100 finalists during a webinar later this year. They will also partner with Art of Procurement to host multiple Founders’ Circle events, bringing together procuretech founders and visionary procurement executives to share perspectives on the most pressing opportunities and challenges facing our professional community.

“We see procurement entering a new era—and the function will look nothing like it did in the past. There is finally the chance to transform the procurement function into an engine for growth, innovation, and resilience: the latest digital innovations will be the unlock", said Samir Khushalani, partner at McKinsey & Company. "In joining forces with the Art of Procurement, we're excited to have the opportunity to help shape the procuretech landscape and witness a new way of working - with humans and agents teaming up together.”

“We are thrilled to have McKinsey & Company joining us as we continue the ProcureTech100 and Founders’ Circle and make them our own,” said Philip Ideson, Founder and Managing Director of Art of Procurement. “Our organizations share a vision for the present and future of procurement technology and operating models: we believe that true transformation is only possible through creativity, strategic focus, and an understanding that technology-enabled procurement outcomes must drive desired business outcomes.”
