By April 1, 2024September 5th, 2024No Comments

After a year of experimenting with and speculating about the potential impact of generative AI, leading procurement organizations are starting to get serious about implementing it with specific use cases in mind.

As with any other new technology, procurement will need to be ready if they want to realize the full advantages of generative AI. This will require new skills and knowledge – including a full understanding of the data security implications.

In this AOP Live session, we were joined by Pascal Bensoussan, Chief Product Officer of Ivalua, Sushil Srinivasan, Managing Director, Supply Chain and Operations, Sourcing and Procurement, at Accenture, and Christopher Sawchuk, Principal and Global Procurement Advisory Practice Leader at The Hackett Group.

They discussed what procurement should be doing today to prepare for a future that includes generative AI:

  • How fast this promising new technology is evolving
  • Ways procurement talent will need to adapt and evolve
  • Important data security considerations procurement should know about
  • Real-life use cases from the field
