Philip Ideson Direct Indirect Procurement

Welcome to another Art of Procurement Friday show. Today I’m going to talk about direct procurement specifically. And the inspiration for today’s show was a question I received recently from a US based listener, and it was on the subject of direct procurement.

But what I’m also going to do is just follow that up with another question that I was asked to answer by CIPS Supply and Management magazine on a similar topic, and that one was about the difference that someone with a career in indirect procurement should be aware of as they transition into a direct procurement role.
